I'd say it was one of the UK Pearl White Specials that has had some appropriate work done to it to turn it into the guitar it could/should have been in the first place to recognise the heritage of the Rose Morris models. For starters, the pickguards actually fit now.
Thats why Graham and I both had William work his magic on ours. We kept ours Pearl White but yours looks super in FG. I guess that GG already has enough RM 1993s in FG...

Yeah - it's nice to have the white 12 string to break up all these FG 1993's John.

If you think that the 350MC bridge pickup is not a humbucker (which is exactly what it looks like), I'm curious what you think it is?

Many (if not all) of Campbell's Ricks have Firebird pickups hidden under the Rick pickup covers.

Ah, I see that we're talking about two different guitars.
I'm addressing what we're calling Rickenbacker's NAMM 2013 350MC.
I suppose Campbell could have some other pickup buried in his original 350MC's humbucker shell. Susanna Hoffs does in her LE guitar.

I'm glad you like it Peter. A lot of thought went into the appropriate FG shade to use so it's great you and others on here who appreciate the Rose Morris guitars like what we went with.
I have always found it frustrating to restring the 12 string Ricks to play as a six. This time round, there seemed to be only one sensible solution..

William is indeed the man!
Many thanks John. No doubt about it, William did excellent work on this project. I don't know about you, but I enjoy a fine pair....(of 1993's of course

)

Just letting you guys that are unaware, know that 350MC is not the official name of that guitar.

I would be keen to know what is the real name!
320 + long neck = 350
310 + long neck = 360??
Nah that can't be right!

Technically, using that rationale, the nomenclature would indicate a 340. However, that obviously conflicts with another model...
sidenote: I just wasted my 5000th post on
this.
