well bob hon...im moving to maryland soon....i met my soulmate/twin flame..shes like me ..and also a bassist too...soo we will be a tgurl couple and plan on writing stuff for 2 basses...yes i had heard that there were only 2 other fretless 4002's ever made...shes been my main bass as a matter of fact the only bass i played since i got her..didnt take her to europe as i didnt have a flight case...but since 1982 i played her exclusivelee

Okay! Gotta stop thinking about a 4002! I'll never have one, so just don't think about it...
I always wondered why the catalog pics of these didn't have really wild grain like those posted here. There might have been more sales if they had.

That V-9 head is also a rare item, goes with the bass. I've never tried one and have only seen one in the flesh so to speak once in my life and that was about 30 years ago in a store front window. The look like kinda like big V4-B's. The cabs were there also 9X10 cabs with ports.
