Well, Sean...it's been asserted here often that 'chicks dig Ricks', but with your, er, stage presence, I think you could probably go out under the lights playing a mop and have to dodge flying panties. A Rick definitely won't hurt, though...

Tony, questions of democracy aside, I think it's fine to call Kit 'my drummer', and it should be okay with you if he calls you 'my guitar player'...

I can't for the life of me, however, refer to G.W. as 'my president'...

Anthony, I hear you, call it a knee-jerk reaction on my behalf. You may very well be the main point-source, writer, and leader of your band, and that's fine, alot of bands work that way. Drums are my first and main instrument, and I just get a little tired of seeing bands swap drummers, and still keep the same band name, like it's just a seat that needs to be filled. I have been in bands, and had guys call me "my drummer", as if my sweat was all in support of them, and not the band. Meanwhile, I usually end up singing at least 5 to 10 songs per night, and I'm usually the most prolific song-writer in the band ! I end up thinking that people just like to keep everyone else down !! Seriously though, if you called Kit "our drummer", he would feel more part of the band. People are touchy, especially us sensitive musician types, changing one word could make all the differece in the world.

Excellent comments Steve. In support of your comments, perhaps the nicest guy in our "band", is our drummer. Without him we either go too fast or too slow.

Certainly Don Henley, Phil Collins and even the late Chris Curtis (bet you don't remember him) have been frontmen for their groups.

Well that's the whole kit and caboodle for now.
