Steve, I only take issue with one of those (guess which one??? LOL)...although I'm a curmudge, I'm not yet bent (physically, anyway) nor cane-wielding...
What Steve has picked up on here, friends, is the fact that nearly all images of the groups and members have been copyrighted and are aggressively protected.
The only issues raised by his designs are the "Byrds" logo, which I'm sure is copyrighted, but which could be tweaked to resemble same without causing offence.
In all, the quality of a number of members' contributions is very, very impressive.

Steven, love the designs. If I may be nitpicky, the only one I don't like is "Modern Rickenbackers", as it doesn't really flow with the rest of the sections designs. I'd try and stick with the way you did all the other guitar ones.

Hey Paul I have to agree you are not physically bent and if you used a cane...let's not go there.
Well perhaps I should explain. It sort of reminds me of my cane wielding headmaster when he found out that I telling stories in a local London pub while the rest of my classmates were on a field trip to a number of the London Museums. If I close my eyes I can still feel the effects of that particular brand of corporal punishment.
But back to the topic. I wonder how Steve could accurately portray your personality and your talent. Ideas anyone?

A healthy-looking guy in a hat with a bottle of Zymol in hand, perhaps?

Steve: Those are outstanding submissions, from where I sit. I really like Clough Classics, however, I can see why the Curmudgeon would be less than taken with the cane.

Yes a healthy looking guy would be nice Sheena. As my children have said, more than once, "dad what was it like in the olden days back in the 60s."

I really like the Rickenbacker Basses one Steve, it has a very familiar feel to it.

The idea that come to my mind for the RickResource logo is to take a right-handed and a left-handed RICs and then cross them sort of liked crossed-swords on a family crest.
However, I'm so lousy working with Photoshop, I won't even try to create a sample.

Almost reminiscent of the Smithereens' photo I saw a while back Richard.

Steven,
Really great ideas. Love them.
The only thing I see, and this is only me and sorry for being uber critical, is the Rick Resource Forum. The fonts seem pretty plain and for some reason the photo doesn't have the "oomph". Maybe it's just me but for the main logo for the site, wouldn't it make sense to have something that makes a bold and deep statement without being too grandiose? It's tough and I've done some sketches but it's hard to do something that best captures the entire feel of the forum: the vital information, the wonderful people, the beautiful instruments and just the overall friendliness this forum has instilled in Rickenbacker aficionados of all walks of life.
Okay, I'll keep quiet now.

Insert rim shot here. Thanks Peter. Here is a "For Sale" variant and an improved "Modern". It oblueterates the previous version. Sorry.
