Marc, it's ironic that you're out east and getting your DCM from a store near me (relativity) and mine is coming from the NY area.

Jim, that's the way it works. Wanna switch? Image

Just called CME. Couldn't speak to my salesman(ironically named Ricky)but, the person who answered the phone said a shipment of guitars just came in and he wasn't sure what was there.

****fingers crossed*****

Marc,
I'd be up for a switch, email me if you'd like to discuss it a bit more. I

Jim, I think there'd be too many problems. One, my guy doesn't have the bass yet, and when he gets it, probably won't ship it to you, or let you pick it up for fraud concerns.

How about we switch and I get this super slim neck profile, and you get a neck that resembles an old baseball bat? That wouldn't be fair either.

Just a fun idea...

Not sure if this was mentioned but two that were ordered from BASSNW arrived and went.
Not sure if either of them went to forumites.

Nice bass. Well worth the wait.

The proud pappa.

I definately have to lower the nut slots and put D'Addario' XL-170's on her, but other than that, she feels pretty good. The neck is alot thinner than my '04 Blueboy, but about the same as the '05 Blueburst I sold. Feels real user-friendly to me. The tone push-pull pot is really kinda cool also.

More pics later.

Congrats, Scott! Now you HAVE to come to MARF II. No excuses.

(or you can let me take it to MARF II)
We could meet, say, in Mansfield.

I'm not gonna be able to make MARF II Jeff. My wife's going to be in Florida, and I need to be home with my daughter.

What can I say,, I have the "Confluence Curse".

Someday I promise.

The metalflake is really cool. Hard to capture in a pic. I just got done applying a little Zymol. The finish is as smooth as a baby's butt right now.

Hats off to Rickenbacker and Paul W.
