Disgusting thread.

To bring this thread a bit more back to topic... Does anyone know when the next batch of 4003s are gonna arrive in the UK? Ive got a real hankering to try out the JG and Walnut - got a feeling i might prefer them to my standard 4003

I wish they would make a left handed version of this model. I'm pretty bummed.

i'm in the second batch ordered by PotR, the order dated february 6th. the web page says "Rickenbacker has estimated delivery at 8-12 months as of 2/5/2015," and chris told me when i placed the order that it could potentially be even longer than that. that means october 6th at the very earliest, maybe next february 6th, and maybe even later than that. chris has been totally up front with me and i've been happy in all my dealings with him. anybody complaining before next february 6th is out of order.

and for the record, i hope some folks do cancel their orders, because i want to buy a couple more when they finally do come in.

Ben Hall said on Facebook they would offer this is lefty, but I've got a feeling it probably won't be until they have all the righty pre-orders and inventory channels filled. And then probably after the 4003SW orders are filled.

Gear4Music now suggesting they will have Jetglo ones in the UK for the start of December...

I almost ordered Jetglo. A very cool finish for Rickenbackers.

Have a look at Willcutt Guitars they have two fantastic looking walnuts available. One with some crazy ( in a good way) grain patterns!

Ugh, these are most likely from the batch that I was told 2 months ago was to be manufactured at the beginning of October.. Wonder where the others have landed.

I have had the GREAT pleasure of purchasing a few Rick basses from Chris at POTR's. I have found him to be trustworthy, and would do business again ANYTIME with him.
I can honestly say he is THE BEST dealer there is. And, NIO....I am not a relative or affiliated in any way to him

Hmmmm, now showing as May 2016 for the 4003s to turn up in the UK.... Disappointing.
