However, I can't help thinking, if he's been Prime Minister of England after the recent events, he probably would have invaded North Korea.

Steve, your comments are well taken & I will promise to refer to Kit as 'our' drummer in the future. Your point is actualy a good one & although in my particular case, Kit KNOWS that he is part of the band in a very important way & accepts the lack of democracy as a realistic working method, I can quite see why some drummers may not like this. As for being Kits guitarist, his family refers to me as such & I have never felt offended. Like I said, nothing derogatory was meant by it...it's just the way we work!

I think I've hearrd of Wisconsin. Thats where cheese comes from. Also there's lots of snow there in winter. Aside from those things and a few misguided moose, I dont think there is much going on.

Hey Tony ...
I could use a few pointers wrt recording. I have a Boss 1600 which we use as a mixing desk & a recording desk. The guitars both feed into Line 6 pre-amps but I feed the stereo output of my Ric 4003 direct into the first two channels. The output is fed into a stereo PA & sounds fine, but when I come to mix the recording later, my bass doesn't seem to 'cut through'.

The problem may be in the stereo Bob. Live it's great, but mono is generally more punchy & powerful. I would run the 4003 into a pre-amp, compressor & into a mono channel for recording. I routinely run a 4003 into a Joe Meek VC1, straight to hard disc, but before final mixing, I will send that through a valve amp & 4x10 or 4x12 cab & mic up to get the final sound.
