That would be Adam Faith I believe although there is another person who also claims this distinction.

Sheena I suspect that we will need a clue on your question. Roy I have no idea what the answer is your question. Perhaps another clue is needed also.
I think some clues now and again put in a clever way make this trivia all the better.Did anyone like the insignia advert?
I liked the Insignia Advert. :D

I can no longer log on at work :(

So: I'll elbow in with two questions -

(1. This band shortened their original 32 letter name at least twice, had some hits, and at least one member went on to Hollywood music fame.

(2. Peter Frampton, Steve Lawrence and Edie Gorme, what's the common link?

I can read the answers via email alerts, been enjoying this thread very much!

Re: question 2)

They all have stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Peter Frampton’s star is at 6819 Hollywood Blvd

Edie Gorme and Steve Lawrence’s star is at 1541 Vine Street

I'll leave question 1 to others to figure out.

This famous musician who plays multiple instruments equally well toured Italy playing double bass with the Murray Campbell Big Band in the early 1960's. Who is he and where did he study cello and musical composition?

Technically, yes. Counted as a right answer (well, i did have a suspicion that there's more than one band that meet the criteria), albeit i actually meant another band. Here it is, and you can see their name at the beginning and the end of the vid.

Edited my new "puzzle" out. Oops. I'm really bad at counting, i thought it was thirty six and it's much less. Sorry.

Jerry has asked that I reply for him:
... In the Rock and Roll Trivia, OldGeezer54 has answered my two questions correctly. ("Mystic Knights"... & "Both covered Black Hole Sun") Would you pass that on?

Thanks,

Jerry
