The invasion of the Scottish Distilleries is next.... resulting in worldwide shortages of Single Malt whiskies for years to come !

Aitch,
Scotty told me he sent down four of his buddies to take you up North, but if I were you I'd go by rail.

Irn Bru, Alka Seltzer XS, and some Boots Tension Headache Reliever = the PERFECT hangover cure. Follow up with a big Scottish breakfast and you're good for another day of carousing!
They don't sell the Boots stuff stateside, but I would love to have some more of those magic pills. Nothing knocks out a headache faster.

Sorry I haven't posted much over the last few days...... been very, very busy running all over the countryside!
We went to the National Heritage Motor Museum. Well worth the visit as it is a fascinating insight into the history of the British auto industry. Me with a couple of oldies:
We also visited the Science Museum the same day that we did the "Denmark Street Crawl". Again, some fascinating stuff.... particularly the history of steam exhibition. Can anybody guess what I'm standing in front of? Sorry about the blurred pic.....

Looks like your having a good time Aitch, and learning a bit of history along the way.
Good stuff !!!!!
If my memory serves me correctly that would be Stephenson's Rocket you're standing in front of.

Last night we had the TF jam session...... great fun with great people!!
Given the fact that I haven't played much at all in the last three weeks I guess I shouldn't be surprised that my fingers are killing me this morning!!
Mickey and yours truly get into it........
And here's England's latest super group - "T Few Minus Two Plus One".............
Minus two plus one....
Such a pity I'm not staying longer - I'd love to do it again. Hmmmm...... of course there's always the possibility of emigration.
Tomorrow it's off to Glasgow to terrorise Scotty!!!
