My dreams are just beginning to come true with this color of the year..... Which model am I going to buy? Eeeny, meeny, miney, moe.... The pictures of that 12-string acoustic on the RIC site really grab me.... I am extremely happy!

Oh my, check out the new Blueburst on North Coast Music's site. It's just awesome. Here's the link:

Sorry that link didn't take you straight there but you can navigate to the RIC section.

Looks good...more defined in the NCM site. But I was still expecting more of a burst but it still looks pretty good.

It appears to be a NAMM photo; possibly the same guitar as the "stock photo" that got the flak. Looks SO much better bigger and higher-def!

I tend to agree with you Paul. It's still much different than the stark color blend with the MCC 620 pic.

I like the production version of the burst. The MCC burst is too stark for my taste - bright blue fading into a maple color is a little weird. But the darker, translucent blue is pretty cool. It could really show off the grain nicely.
I bet a blueburst 4003 would be pretty good looking! Let's see one!

Hopefully the production version stays the same as the NAMM display model. If so, I may have to consider another Ric sometime this year.

It's nice, probably would look best on the 4004Cii series basses where the figured maple would show through.

Mmmmmm.... I was imagining more of an "MCC-glo" type of Blueburst myself, but this is still very pretty! I love how clean the soundhole binding looks contrasted with the transparent blue finish.... Yummy. Kind of like a blue version of the dark "Eggplantglo" Burgundy.

Dang. . . .this COY appeals to me more than any of the prior years! Wish I had held off the urge to get a 660 for a few more months. A 381v69 would be smashing. Full body style + figured wood.

I know what you mean, John, the last few have not "Done it for me", but this is a color I can get with! I like the blue/white combination. Can't wait to see the full line in this color. I know Mike Parks has ordered some of everything in it already.

Now that's got it! I'm warming up to it very much! I could see a 4003 with toaster pup and vintage knobs on the list for this year. Checkerboard binding on that would just make me flip!!! Hey Mike P, incoming call!
Scott-that would make a nice mate for the blue boy!
