Looks like good times! I especially like the "bigger than life" pic on the bottom.

So, I've got the Rathenbacker on the guitar rack backstage last night at the Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana and a guy who works there yells "who's Ric?" I come forward and the guy tells me he builds necks at Ric for his day job and what a cool place it is to work and how it's family owned and how all the basses are hand made, etc.
I pointed out the 5 string conversions and he was very impressed with Jeff's work. After the show he told me it sounded great (the bass, not necessarily my playing).

Jeff and Ben,
Short straps rule.
Not only does it keep ones basses away from buckle rash, and I don't wear shirts with buttons when playing either, the playing position doesn't change between live and studio sessions when I am usually seated. At this stage of the game it is also a lot more comfortable on the wrists as well.

Yes the "Red" coil cable is So '60's.
What else goes so perfectly with a C64 than a "Bullet" coil cable. IIRC they also come in black, blue, and clear outer coatings (o;}.
They sound great live, I can discern a difference from the Evidence Audio Cables I regularly use when recording, but not enough to justify long, stiff, expensive cables for live use, the Bullets are super thick, and have sturdy connectors. Retail is around $35 IIRC.

That Rathenbacker looks sleek as hell. Very cool.
Bear, love the pic, and I have to say you've been giving me RAS for a c64s!!

Thanks John,
No photoshop effects either I have no idea what was being cast by the lights to get that swirly effect. RAS indeed, mine is focused on a wish for a COY C64, that would put me in pure RAS heaven.
