I wouldn't go posting pictures of your sister online, if I were you!

Just kidding! I've seen my fair share of that at all the concerts I've been to. Though instead of slippers and a bathrobe, it's unevenly bleached jeans and an old, ill-fitting Van Halen tank top . . . *shudder*. It reminds me of the lady who had front-row tickets to the KISS/Aerosmith concert (I was 4th row) who was so drunk and belligerent that she had to be forcibly removed from the concert hall . . . DURING THE OPENING ACT. I bet she was mad when she sobered up and realized how much those tickets cost her!

Hey Bob, is she single?

She has got to be hell in a bar fight.
I'm just happy to be here.

Bobcat- Was that at Alpine Valley in Wisconsin?! I love the place, but the tailgaiters can get out of hand. Its one of the few concert venues I've been to where I've seen people vomiting on the way IN.

It is. The sightlines are good, the acoustics are good, nice big lawn seating area, you can hang out in the parking lot and have a beer(but not too many or you might ruin the show!)

I like to get up there and see a show every now and then, but they haven't had many a whole lot booked recently. I think only about 3 concerts were booked there last summer, none that I was really interested in.

Oh....and....yes, it was the perfect place to see the Grateful Dead. I hear Red Rocks was also a great place for a Dead show.

Marc, we still have 2 1/2 months to go. They were only announced a little over a month ago.

I know...just a bit on the anxious side. While I want the bass, I also believe Ric's commitment to getting all the units produced and shipped this year.

Then I can rub it in the dealer's noses who doubted that it would happen.

I have doubts that RIC can do it too, but I hope they can. We should all know how RIC operates so people shouldn't be upset at the wait time.

By the way, nice pickguard on the Pickguardian website. I visited there for the first time and saw your "Limited Edition". Very cool!

RIC does a holiday shutdown, as I recall, so it is probably a little less than that.

My dealer keeps insisting that it will be a LONG time. He does not believe Ric will ship before the end of the year. It will be a nice if they can do it (and freak my dealer out) but I'll be patient and wait. I wonder if I'll get a call from the dealer before someone gets one here. Anotherwords will Ric ship all of them the same day or ship them as they get done. If all are to be shipped by end of year and they ship as they go I think we might start seeing them soon. I doubt they will do all of them the last week of Dec. Unless they hold all of them until they are done.

I'm in no rush just so long as they make a great bass, with a thin neck.....

I'm in no rush...period. I've been filling the void nicely with a few other purchases.
