First off, I just want to say THANK YOU, Rick. These isolated tracks are so cool. They make it so much easier to pick out Paul's amazing bass lines...pure genius!

I'm working on learning the entire Sgt Pepper album and I'm just about finished with side one. A little more time on Mr Kite and then I can skip right to When I'm Sixty Four. But, like you, I too am really looking forward to The White Album.
Thanks again for all of your hard work on getting these posted!

Is it too late to add requests?

I'd like everything possible from Octopus's Garden and Maxwell's Silver Hammer for starters!

I've had much fun listening to those isolated bass tracks.

To me, Paul is one of the best bass players of all times - that he's human after all, is evident in the OH DARLING track, don't know if you noticed. Listen at 0:53 (misses root note), 1:17, 1:29, 1:50 and 3:06..

Not my intention to bash Paul here, I was just VERY surprised by this, and wonder why he settled for this take.

Sorry for the wait, friends. I've been busy with work other projects and STEELER FOOTBALL.

I WANT TO NOTE THAT CUTTING UP AN ENTIRE SONG IS TIME CONSUMING. I WILL DO IT IF ASKED, BUT INSTEAD OF THESE "EVERYTHING" REQUESTS, CAN YOU THINK OF ONE OR TWO THINGS THAT ARE NEEDED? The bold caps do not represent anger, I just don't want it slipping by eyes.

For those who thought vocals from "The Word" aren't available...

http://mp3upload.ca/track/the-beatles/t ... itar-37651

Something interesting of note: the original version of "The Word" that appeared on the US Rubber Soul had double-tracked vocals from John, they were not present in the US or UK mono mixes, the original 1965 UK stereo mix, the 1986 "remix" or the isolated track presented here.

If anyone's interested in the original 1965 US stereo mix, provide me your email, and I can send it to you. Better still, since all the vocals are on the right side of this mix, I can isolate that track, and upload it to the site where Rick is uploading his. (Just need to find it in my other computer first!)

Compared it to the Anthology version of "Long and Winding Road"?

I don't know about you, Jake, but I know if I were in need of a heroin fix, didn't like the guys in the room, didn't like the song I was playing, and wasn't even on the instrument I wanted to play, I wouldn't give a **** either.

John could be more then competent and focused when he wanted to be.

I know what you're saying, it's just LAWR was played in the same manner, very sloppy and not...great.

Ooops, I thought you were saying the opposite! I actually like "Oh Darling", a few minor clams but a really cool line IMO. "TLAWR" just kind of plods along.

I'm pretty sure Lennon didn't play bass on Oh Darling. I'm not sure he had anything to do with it since he wasn't allowed to sing it. The bass sounds like McCartney to me. Maybe he thought the slop fit the nature of the song.

Thanks alot man! These Octopus's Garden And Maxwell pulls sound great! Perfect to practice with!

And sorry about the "everything" request, but I don't know what kind of tracks are availible besides the standard RB bass, drums, guitar and vocals. I find these "other" isolated backing tracks to be the most interesting; the ones from "Something" and "Mr. Kite" are my personal favorites right now, and I love listening to the piano from OG and Max now!

And next, could I get the Drums for Something (you already provided the "backing", vocals, guitar and bass so I'm assuming the drums are the last thing you can pull, but if there is more I'll take it) and the Guitar, "Backing" (unless they are combined), and Drums for Oh Darling (you've provided the Vocals and Bass so again I'm assuming this is it for this track).

Also, before I annoy you with even more requests, what do you find is the cutoff for getting good isolations from the game. Like does Rubber Soul have alot of tracks bleeding together? Is Sgt. Pepper "modern" enough to avoid this? The pulls from "Good Morning" are pretty fantastic and varied; is the whole album like this?

Thanks again!

Kyle

Amazing how these tracks are probably more closely examined and scrutinized today than they were initially by the recording engineers at Apple at the time they were made. They couldn't have possibly imagined people picking them apart 40 years later.
