There doesn't appear to be many Mapleglo RMs. The only ones that I've noted posted on this thread is John's (above) and mine shown below. BTW, there's nothing wrong with your browser as my '96 1997 is a lefty. Not many of these either. There's only one other 1997 LH in the Rickenbacker Register.sloop_john_b wrote:Only had one, this '94. Really nice guitar! It was in a state of pickguard transition at the time:

i am STUNNED! beautiful guitar - love it love it love it - how much do you want for it?!krick wrote:Details: This was a 1997 Mapleglo 1997 reissue that I have had for some time. I had Larry add all of the bindings including the f hole and a new fingerboard with CPIs. He also used a C series roller bridge and an Accent tailpiece I had in my spare parts box. The finish is a satin/matte conversion varnish clear coat over an Autumnglo style base. This guitar's finish was inspired by a vintage 365 OS model that David Kim owned at one time and featured in his YouTube video about the Vox Super Beatle Amp. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTeva7jvqwMscotty wrote:Kevin need to see another pic of that guitar with the lights on

Really, really love the pics in this thread, but what I would like to see now is the written story of the Rickenbacker Rose Morris period. There are loads of useful bits and bobs all over the forum, but wouldn't it be great to see the whole export tale down in one thread - dates, models, feature changes, numbers, players, everything ...or even a book (I would buy that in an instant). Who fancies the job? I know there are some very knowledgeable people here, can we do this? Would love to see it.
Ehhhh so whats keeping you two Is it done yet?collin wrote:A book would be great - I'm happy to volunteer!
