Thanks for all your hard work in researching and compiling everything. The end product was worth the wait for all of us!

Thanks also for referencing me on page 5, and including a shot of my 1967 Burgundy-glo 4005 in the lower left corner on page 40! (You took that at the RIC 75th Anniversary SoCal Confluence, right?)
Take Care, and Best of Luck with many sales of Your Book! :D

Thanks, Jim, and yes, that is your bass I shot at the 75th (against a eucalyptus tree outside the showroom at the hotel).

GREAT! I was just about to call the office and whine about the comp copies. Looks like they are finally getting out there.

And thanks, contributors, for your patience! I hope you enjoy the book!

My comp copy arrived in the mail today too. Glad I didn't wait for it and bought from Amazon, 'cause I would have hated missing out while waiting! 'Course, I had the order in long before I even knew I'd get a comp copy...

hi Paul - the book has reached UK bookshops and more importantly (!!!) onward to my armchair - i had to add myself to the VERY impressed forumites here, and am knocked out by the entertaining text, facts i'm taking in without even realising it as it flows so well as a read, and the design and photography are really striking - the Fireglo leaps off the page, and its great to see the wonderful range of instruments collectors/forumites have - a real treat! The UK is enjoying its once-a-decade heatwave just now, and the photos just glow in this rare sunshine... perfect summer read!! (in amongst all the "50 shades of grey" paperbacks being thumbed on the beach my "50 years.." WILL BE the headturner...!!!!!!). All the best and congratulations on such an achievement ...wow!!

Shari is especially glad to see Mark Walker's lefty/righty work of art is there. :)
