Actually, from experience, I don't think it matters if you are upwind or downwind when a skunk lets go!

"Daddy........ do skunks smell after you've run over and squashed them?"
"Well, no son....... they sorta don't see or hear, neither."

LOL
Nothing like a hot summer night with the fresh smell of skunk wafting through the bedroom window to drive you to the air conditioning!

I'll be there September 14th, Nate - arriving on the train from Toronto. I'm only booked in for one night at the Hyatt Regency at this stage, but with the NY leg totally up in the air, that may change - or not.

7 more days and you arrive in Gods country Aitch. (Am I allowed to say that?)
The security staff at YVR were threatening to go on strike yesterday but we told them that you were coming and bingo they've agreed to have an arbitrator appointed. Amazing how much influence you name has.
All that was said was that the Bishop was coming to see them and they scattered like angels before the Bema seat.
It's a good job your last name is not Pope or we really could have had a lot of fun.

Wow! That's cool. Lovely guitars. Great shots of San Francisco (sort of a "deja-vu", after those 10 years...) And nice cars, too. Great job, HJB.
Gonna check every day, of course.

Well, it's 11:45pm - the washing and drying is all done and I'm packing for my next leg of the journey...... on to British Columbia.... look out Brian!! I'll give you a wave as I pass over, Alisha.
Paul has been the most unbelievable host and we have had a sensational time together. Every second of the two and a bit weeks here in SF and of course, Santa Ana have been superb. Dalia and Juliana are both gorgeous and I thank them also for taking me into their home.
Thanks to you all for making me feel so welcome and helping me realise how lucky I am to be here with such wonderful people.
If I could confer a knighthood on the Curmudge I would. Sadly, honorary Aussie is about all I can offer!
Pass me the dictionary, will you Paul? I've run out of adjectives. No.... wait... I haven't used spiflicating yet!

Sounds great Howard! I'll give a wave back and have a super time up north!
