Thanks very much for all of the great comments and feedback. I've attempted to do some justice to the astonishing design, visually and otherwise, of Rickenbacker instruments. Whatever happens, I've enjoyed the process immensely.

I'd say no contest!

I am combing through the 230 or so posts and there will be an announcement on Monday next.

That's a lot of combing!

(...and as close as I'll come to touching that line, tempting as it is...)

You mean, like that's the first time Paul's had a comb in his hand in a long time? I would never post anything like that!

Sorry, Paul...I veered a little close to the guard rail and then John's gotta reach over and yank on the wheel...

Twenty-three years and five months to the day, gentlemen.

Money saved on hair stuff paid for my Rick collection.

Oh? I thought you bought fedoras with the money you saved?

Sorry, I could not resist. Besides Dane started it.

Why hat is better than hair? Because you can take it off, put it on or change it any time you will...
Oops. Sorry. Anyway, Dane has started it all, so...Image

Sheena, you can do the same with a hairpiece, too.

I can spot one of those a block away. Owners usually avert their eyes when they pass. Denial is a funny thing...

Brian, I don't own any fedoras. The hat in the picture is a Panama Optima, as work by FDR. I'm working on the cigarette holder thing. But, since I don't smoke ciggies, this is a bit tough at the moment.
