Wow, finally getting to see some good pics of the finish.
I emailed Chris from POTR's, and he hasn't heard anything yet. I hope to have mine sometime next week I guess.
Congrats to everyone that has received theirs so far. They all look amazing. Image

I took the liberty of making a quick recording of it

Hope it doesn't give anyone second thoughts about buying one.

Just wanted to mention that I got my bridge pickup adjusted fine tonight, and it sounds much better now.

Great recording Scott!

Ya'll remember Ken Swearingen? Looks like he got his today! Obviously taking the lead from Edgar's sale:

With hands like his, how much different could it be?

But makes for a fat walletImage

Seriously, I think Edgar's sale was a one shot thing but, we'll see...Collector's are a strange bunch...

Far as I know, Rickenbacker has never made an anniversary issue, or have they?

A short while back, I saw a 50th Anniversary TRC on Ebay. John Hall verified it genuine, but I can't remember if he said they were a prototype or if just a handful were made. My memory is toasted.

I debated on whether I wanted a DCM or not and then, when I decided to get one, didn't really pursue it so I'm stuck without one. If I hadn't just bought a truck, I'd be willing to pay around 3k, but 5.8k? That's a great investment if someone bites!

I'll have to count how many 4004Cii BBRs are made so I can advertise mine (when I get it) as one of X made Image

I really wouldn't have been interested in the DCM so much if not for the fact that I attended the 75th. It was such a great event, it seemed like a natural to get a DCM to go with the fantastic memories.
