You do.............. but it's not Oz.
Then it's down to West Germany (as it was at the time) or Belgium, I'd guess. I can't see Czechoslovakia being a fertile ground for CBS in the '60s.

West Germany is correct Evan and yes you should get credit for an assist on Howards guess.

OK back on track one more before I shut this thing off for the night.

This song was recorded by:

Roy Orbison;
Cher;
Heart;
Jim Capaldi;
Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris;
Robin Gibb;
and a few others.

But it only became a hit when a hard rock band that changed the lyrics slightly recorded and released it in 1975.

Name the song, the band and tell us what lyrics were changed.
