Ross - I will not be at the hotel until Saturday night, which is after the confluence! I will be at a relative's house on Thursday and Friday nights.
Joey and Rich, and I believe Paul A have my cell number, so if there's anything important here posted, one of them can simply call me.
Here's my recent photo, taken Sept. 30. I've cropped out a "distraction" in the photo so we can concentrate on me

Note to file: Remember not to post in Conference and Confluence threads unless I am going there.

We are counting down the last couple of days before SCARF-Ricktoberfest® and there is quite a bit of enthusiasm. Should be a great time with lots of cool Rics on display, (including some Ric amps), maybe 45+ folks participating in some ad-hoc Rickenjamming all day long, interspersed with a few bands doing short sets. Food and beverage service is available all during our event.
It's great to see that we have several first-time Confluence attendees and new members

participating, from both the RRF and from the Ric Company Forum pages ! ! We are happy to have all these new Rickenbacker aficionados on board !!
Ricktoberfest Tee Shirts are available, that can be ordered ahead of time and picked up nearby on Saturday morning ..... (see the earlier posting).
Remember to bring guitar stands and sign-in for your instruments by serial number, for the Display room. And bring your cameras to capture the memories !
Location is:
The Starting Gate 5052 Katella Ave. Los Alamitos 90720
(Katella exit, 605 Freeway, head East about a mile on Katella till you hear the Jingly-Jangle chime .... and the ringing sustain and treble punch of Ric Basses )

Ditto that.
Announcement: Attention all drummers, and friends of drummers who are attending: I am not sure Guitar Center is providing us with a drum stool or kick drum pedal (and these items are often the subject of strong, varied personal preference anyway), so if you are drumming, bring your stool and kick pedal, and if you have a friend who's drumming, and he's not going to see this notice, tell him to bring a stool and kick pedal!

Everyone attending is going to see me in a total of 36 hours (roughly). My love of Rickenbackers will never be the same again...!
