Thank you guys very much for the pictures!

I think the Ruby color looks great, I can't wait to see it in person. The 381 is my favorite with it so far.

You guys need better software!!!
Not me! FastStone Photo Resizer (freeware) took only 4 minutes 24 seconds to resize that batch of pictures, but it took me 41 minutes to post them four at a time. :D 8)

Wondered when someone would mention this.
Am I missing something? What checkered binding? You mean on the guitars?
I think he's referring to the close-ups of the 381v69s and 660s ...

From those of us who just recently bought a Rickenbacker...

DAMN!

I love my new Midnight Blue (especially because it looks like a New York Giants football helmet), but this new color option - this Ruby - would have been an interesting feature to ponder.

The Ruby is very nice. I'm thinking of a 620 in future. Nice to have this color to seriously consider.

And forget about the one guy who grumbled and complained. I've come across that guy on another site and all he did was complain there, too. If Ric had introduced at NAMM a 90% off sale on all Rics this guy would have complained.

That Ruby 360 really is an eye-catcher. I'm beset with RAS :!:

A new 4004L in Ruby with the 4001 parts swap/conversion would be an awesome bass !

OK....... here's the "Elephant in the Room" question:

They've pretty much always had it. The MG is a 660, which has CB standard. 381s sport the CB as well...

If they put it on a 4003, now that would be interesting...

And yes Ruby looks great!

Cool! Hey, you might just get one from NAMM!

I have no idea, but I'm guessing the guys at RIC are smart enough not to show off something at NAMM that they know will produce orders without having a plan for getting at least some instruments into production pretty quickly...
