Hello all,
I am a new member and thought I'd contribute a picture of my 4003. There are probably dozens of 4003 Jetglo basses here, so I had to think of some original way to present it!

This was purchased new a few months ago, my first Rickenbacker. It is a fantastic guitar in all respects.

I've been reading all the old posts---this has got to be the best site on the net, bar none. The forum is as addicting as owning a Ric!

Regards,
Andrew Messer

Sorry for the double post, but I'll try to create a hyperlink to the image in the previous post:

Cool Ricks, guys. Mike- your mapleglo almost looks like it has the walnut head wings. Did you modify it, or is it just a woodgrain/light/camera angle thing?

I only wish this was a picture of My Custom Rickenbacker 8-String bass. Found it while surfing the other day and thought I should share:

Wow! Totally rad!
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

Whoa-its that upside-down headstock again.

Still, I like the 8-banger in Autumn...

Ok, Ok, where the HECK did that guy get that bass? I want one! That makes even my old 8 look pretty dull. Any info anybody? Mr.Hall?

That bass looks looks like it was customized. I've never known RIC to make a V63/C64 8 string, especially with the lefty headstock and walnut wings. I could be wrong though, JH could answer that one. Nevertheless, it's a cool looking bass.
I recently went back to playing a Rickenbacker bass. Its like meeting an old friend again

Okay, Okay time to fess up.
I found that "sweet thang'" at the following URL:

Custom Rickenbacker Reversed Head 8-string

Possibly another of those made by Rickenbacker for the Japanese market like the V63 with checkerboard binding series.

Don't know how but I sure would love to get my hands on one of these too.

Was that the sound of my Income Tax Returns hitting the mailbox?
Now this would be the perfect home for my N.O.S. Holy Grails Image
