Charly, since you're bringing your MarkBass/Portabass setup, I'll leave my Portabass 210 combo at home. I'll also bring your Epi Thunderbird parts with me too. See you Saturday, although I'll be there Friday night.

I'm gonna bring this if it'll fit. If not, I'll bring the AC4.

Could I please have the hotel address so that we might try to get RickResource Forum CD1 there?

here it is:
doctorwho wrote:Official Notice

The 2008 RickResource Forum Southern California Confluence (SoCalCon) will be held at the Holiday Inn August 2-3. Here's the skinny:

Dates/Times:
Saturday, August 2, 2008 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Sunday, August 3, 2008 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Location:
Holiday Inn Orange County Airport
2726 South Grand Ave.
Santa Ana, CA 92705

(Hwy. 55 and Grand Ave. West; exit/cross street is Dyer)

Phone: 714-481-6300 • Fax: 714-966-1889
800-888-5540

Room: Grand Ballroom
Size, 1845 Sq. Ft.; Dimensions, 57' x 31'; Ceiling Height 10'

When reserving a room ask for the "Hotel Event Rate" (but read the previous entries in the thread - you might get a better rate on line).

I have a picture of the room that I need to resize, but I'll try to do that and post it to give you an idea of the size (we'll have more room than last year).

We locals will be getting together to iron out some details. The jam session will be held in the ballroom, and is tentatively scheduled to run from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday.

I'll be bringing a number of amps, including a Kustom 36 Coupe, a RIC RG15, a Kustom K100 bass amp (one 15" speaker), and a Vox AD60VT. I have a number of others, if needed ...

Who's up for a big cigar smokeout? :D IIRC, there are a number of cigar lovers among attending forumites.

Good question. One would hope so in this day and age! I think it's pretty standard for guests.
