Nice one, thanks for the upload Scotty!

It would make sense that the one pictured was then sent off to the trade shows, as others had done in the past (V81 is a great example..), and is probably the same guitar Danny De'Lacey was playing. I don't see why it couldn't have been the same guitar sent to Rose Morris/PT but there were a few made at least.

If you are talking about Greg's…..I wonder if he ever got it repaired/restored?

Yep, I don't think he has yet...he wouldn't share pictures until the resto was done. Poor thing was routed for humbuckers!

Well, Collin, my theory is that they were probably made side by side. The first batch of Rose Morris' were shipped in January of 1964. Surely talks with Rose Morris started by October of 1964, no? 8) :D
I have no idea of why DE 524 ever left the factory but I bet it was a finished guitar by the start of 1964. :P

First post here on this board...but was on the old board back in the 90s...wow, that long..anyway, picked this up earlier in the year and I believe it's the same one that's pictured on Ric's FB site. Grain looks similar. I need to get some better pics of it
