Mark,
You put me to shame. I was excited about post 300...then here you come to ruin my day.
Lovely bass, and I have to admit it looks pretty damn good as a five string Jeff.

Mark (Henny), I haven't seen the new series yet, but I'm happy to hear something good about it!
Also, congratulations on post 1000!

Thanks for the replies and the welcome.
Oddly enough, I found the Cheyenne at a local Guitar Center store when I went in to get a gig bag for the 4003 that I bought new in December. They had a price of $950 on it. I went back to the store for a set of straplocks and they had dropped the price to $535. That's when I originally posted. Thanks to the advice I got here, I went back the next morning and grabbed it!
I just started playing bass in November and I already have two RICs, a Fender and a Kramer! Are all bass players natural collectors?

Not so sure right off the bat...it took me over a decade before I got my 2nd bass, and only just recently got my 3rd (I started playing bass about 25 years ago)...
Along the way, however, I did manage to accumulate 3 electric guitars, an acoustic, a wife who came with a late 50's Gibson acoustic, and a step son who now has an Ibanez bass...
So the collection has grown over the years overall...and considering I got my first electric guitar (a 1966 Fender Mustang) in 1984, it seems it's been growing at a pretty steady rate.
