You are absolutely right! My grandfather was the firstborn son in the states, they came from just outside Palermo. Apparently, there are many pages of Schillaci's in the Palermo phone book, but only a couple in Houston, TX

Schillaci is a quite common family name in that area...there was a famous soccer forward player in the early 90s..
anyway between 1861/1961 around 12million italians emigrated to the usa..I guess a few Schillacis too

Yes, I remember the Schillaci that played for the Italian team back in around 1990-91.
