Jeff remembers more about my gear than I do! I had that ESP for one practice and one gig, and then I almost tossed it out the window, I hated it so much. And how I forgot the '76 Azureglo, I'll never know. I loved that bass!

Sure is, Geoff.

They were originally made for a group called 'The Strangers' in 1968 and were then produced in limited numbers (about 55 per year) until 1971 when production ended. They cost about $280 in those days and were really quite a nice guitar to play (24 fret), but they were big!! Similar body size to the Burns Bison of the day.

Just found a red one for sale in Sydney at $1995!

I have all of my guitars, except for the very first one, a Harmony acoustic. It was a Christmas present in 1965 and was stolen about six months later.

I'm trying to think of an appropriate "who, me?" type comment, but I don't think I'd be fooling anyone.

Hmmm. I just thought of a few more, one of which I still have:

Ibanez Talman, 3 lipstick version (still have)
Ibanez Saabre (or whatever it was they were called)
Rickenbacker 360 with slant frets
And I'm pretty sure I had a second 4001 in there, somewhere.
