You all want to come to Hull (where I'm from) really dont you ? Dont you ?.....No I suppose not, and if I'm honest a "do" in another part would be good cos it gets me away from the dump ! Yes its all true Hull is as bad as they all say in the media ! I'm not afraid to say it! Good job I live a few miles outside really. Anyway a Ric do with likeminded people socialising....great !

Hey Keith, I'm originally from the Hull area. I found it too exciting (not), so I ran away from home at 16 and joined a rock band and never went back, I'm 52 now. (Well I do go back now and then to see my mum!).

Too bad you couldn't settle on Barnstaple or Scunthorpe or Slough- maybe I'd visit.

How about Barton upon Humber, at 'The Reeds'?
Could be a fight over who gets the 'Florence Nightingale' room!!

If it would get you over I'm sure we could manage it. Come to Scunthorpe (which I've played at once too often) and they'll give you the keys to the town. So you can lock 'em all in....

Actually, Phil, when I was over there in '02 I drove from London to York and I was heading to Scunthorpe to stay the night but for some strange reason the Focus veered to the left as I approached!!
Perhaps I made the mistake of mentioning to my partner at that time that Ian Botham once played football for Scunthorpe United.....

I see you're getting a further dose of Tony Blair - how do you guys feel about that?

What can you do when your choices are a smack in the face or a kick in the b*lls, most of us don't like any of them. So we tend to vote for the one that we dislike the least!
On another note, Scunthorpe sounds good especially if John Hall was the "Guest of Honour".

Barton would be ok by me, I could just walk home over the Humber bridge living in Anlaby ! Scunthorpe is much maligned, I love playing there which I do 2 or 3 times a year. I find the people there very welcomining and always up for a good time. The Scunny Baths would be a good venue for a get togethher. Peter...good move getting out, bet it shocks you when you ger herm (local accent) to see ya Mam!

Hi,
Coventry here - I play bass and guitar. I have a Battle scarred Midnight Blue 4003 and a lovely Montezuma 4003. I have been looking for a 480 but haven't got one yet!
I play bass, guitar, drums (and some odd instruments) in an original band called Senses - we've been in the Radio 1 - One Music top 10 before but we're just working on our debut album at the moment.

Hi Ronan, I was in Coventry on Wednesday but I never saw you (lol). Coventry - Scunthorpe, that's not far is it?

I think Scunny is the where it should be !!! Its only 15 miles from my house (perfect). The Baths (now a live music venue/club) would be great. Every band worth mentioning played there in the 60's. The Beatles, Stones, Who, Kinks, everyone. We should get a PA sorted, a house band and let everyone get up and have a go with their pride and joy. Does that sound good or what ? Peter we could have a parnt together and terk (accent)Rics !
