Mike, try this link first (albeit a horrible "forms" page):

http://pages.ebay.com/help/contact_us/_base/index.html

I think this might work:

Image

The selections are:
- Report problems with other eBay members
-Fraud concerns for buyers
-Report a listing you think [sic: know] is fraudulent (you didn't bid)

The next page that comes up after clicking on Continue has an e-mail link; clicking on that puts one on a login page, so if you are not an ebay member, you may not be able to complete the complaint procedure.

Like Yahoo, another company known for its shenanigans, eBay does not have a generic direct contact e-mail address, at least one that I have been able to find!

By the way, I often print out such examples of wrong-doing on eBay in the event that eBay someday tries to do anything against me for whatever reason (not that they should, mind you!), I will have ample documentation to show a court that they have not enforced rules in the past and therefore blah blah blah ...

Gary, that is awesome! I filled it out and unfortunatly, other than filing the item number, there is no other contact, reason to give, etc. And the only way they can know it is a fraud is if they contact me. Well...it's a shot and I hope it works. Thanks guys for all the help and I'm certainly glad no one in this forum will get hurt.

With 4005's, it's a small world, isn't it?

Check it out. I received 2 emails today. One from the high bidder, and one from the seller. The seller wants to report me to the postal police for false accusations.

See emails below:
Dear lowendbob,

I live to 30 kms from the person that he/she sells him/it and I/you/they have gone to see him/it, the lower part exists and is so', only the photo for motives for time and takes from internet. I believe that you should apologize because the person that you accuse of forgery wants to report you to the Postal Police. . Attention!

Please respond to the question on eBay by clicking the button below.

Thank you,
pissinasci

Seller:

Mr. that I don't know I want to tell you

The typical compensation for using copyright images without permission is $250 - $400. Hardly worth the hassle in this case.

After being screwed on a deal that I did through the Postal Service I found out that if someone is guilty of Postal fraud they lose their rights to receive mail! How cool is that?

I just received this email from one of the bidders. I have recognized his Ebay username (bambibau) from seeing him bid on Ric basses quite frequently.
It's nice to get a response like this.

"Thank you,
I'm proud to live in a world where someone who doesn't know you si ready to help you".
