Damaging your hearing is one thing, Dave, but what about the liquefying of your innards? Image

It's your body, Jeff. Call it whatever you like. However, cheetahs can only perform in short, sharp bursts!! Image

I remeber the calls to "turn it down", not because it was too loud, but because the SPL was hurting peoples chests. Especially with the Acoustics, on stage was the safest place to be with them !!!

I don't remember anything about the specific db's but that is close to what it said. I remember " Warning high sound pressure levels can cause irreversible loss of hearing acuity" or something like that.

Come on Howard get out the screwdriver and the nut driver, be a man! haha! No it's really easy.

I'm sure it is, Bob. I'm worried about keeping my hands steady the first time. Hmmmm....... a bit like the first time ever (if you get my drift)....... Image

I've done it on a Squier, my Brian Moore and Yamaha acoustic but new Ricks with dual truss rods worry me!!

Hey Howard,
Congrats on the bass! I saw your thread about the case and I didn't know you had a new bass. That's my fault since I don't check the bass forum too often (yeah yeah I know I should... Image.) Have fun learning the bass. I'd like to have a Rickenbacker bass myself to learn some Paul McCartney!
Yeah right, I doubt I would ever be playing like him if I started playing tomorrow.
