Brian, I've seen pictures of your C64FG on another RIC site. What a nice looking bass that is. I hope my new C64FG looks as good as yours does. I wasn't being critical of the MMT paint design in particular, just the way Macca did it, with paint all over the pickguard for instance. I guess I'm just stickler for neatness.

My decision is whether or not to customize the bass I have or to purchase either another C64 or a V63. I've heard from a couple of people who say they can do the work, so I'm in contact with them and will make a decision one way or the other. Thanks for the compliment. It is a beautiful finish.

If you do have it done, I hope you will post some pics. I'd love to see the results.

Ive been contemplating doing this to mine on and off for the last year or so, But I think I might just buy a second C64 so I can have one with the MMT paint job and one in standard Fireglo.
I must admit it does look very cool though

I know this thread keeps popping up... but its a cool one..
But just found some more info on this paintjob, I dont know if anyone else has seen this photo, but Its a 'rarer'colour photo, I can see that
its actually painted white on the back aswell, This is the only photo ive ever seen of the back of his Ric in MMT era.
Thought it mite be a realivent bit of new info for anyone considering getting a 'correct' paintjob
Merry Christmas to you all!
