I'd still nail him with negative feedback. Now he has to relist it and eat more Ebay fees.

Alvaro, not live means he is ordering it from the company. Dlvd does mean shipping is included. It'll take time till I get it but, it saves a few hundred.

The only place I found that has one in stock was Musician's Friend who are asking around $2400. Most places are around $2100-2200. North Coast was next best to Rhodes at $1989, with shipping additional.

I figured if I'm going to wait, I should go with the best price I can get.

Not live = not in stock. Gotcha Marc!

We two must be in possession of a couple of 'great minds', cause we're thinkin' alike when it comes to the saving of some coin!Image

Mike Parks at the Rickenbacker Page is very good to deal with. I have a C64FG on order through him and I can't wait to get it! I've also bought a 4003 fron him and he's always been great to me.

Jim mentioned to me that he might get one in only to find out that the person before me cancelled, and I get mine right away, or that all of a sudden, Rickenbacker ships a bunch of the same item so it's hard to tell how long the wait can be.

My estimate, 6-9 months

Mike Parks told me that the wait was around 6 to 12 months on a C64 or C64S. Mine was ordered just before the year began so I'm looking to get mine around September hopefully.

Nice job, Alvaro, and after what happened with the v63, you deserve that kind of a break.

Well... after the longest week ever recorded in the history of the Western (and Northern) Hemisphere...

I have it! Image

First off... a big THANX to Bob Scott for helping me "officially" get back into the Rickenbacker fold by selling me his month-old C64S (I hadn't owned a Rick since 1987... but I always knew I'd be back!Image)

And thanx to everyone who posted little messages of encouragement and support during the B.S. Era (a.k.a. The eBay Days).

That's what makes this forum so kick-a$$!

I guess all that's left for me to say is...
