I was being overly concerned with the actual music. Who needs words! Image

Well, rock songs often have drug use themes. Eek! And there are some that deal with Jesus or just Religion in general:

1) Presence of the Lord (Blind Faith)
2) Jesus He Knows Me (Genesis)
3) Losing My Religion (REM)
4) In The Light (Led Zeppelin)

Funny that Clapton was strung out on heroin while he wrote POTL, and Zeppeling were rumored to be involved with the occult. Image

And Country doesn't have a lock on songs about or dealing with cars:

1) I'm In Love With My Car (Queen)
2) Mustang Sally (Wilson Pickett)
3) Baby You Can Drive My Car (Beatles)
4) Fun, Fun, Fun (Beach Boys)

But, country did go too far mixing sex and farm implements with (I don't remember the artist, not that into country except my wife and daughters torture me with it on long car rides) "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy"...I'm a little worried for the livestock on that guys farm when his girl isn't around! Whoa! Image Hot stuff.

My brother used to be the maintenance supervisor for a power plant. They called the plant "Big Alice" and I never got it...

Until one day my brother was talking about having to talk to Allis Chalmers about parts for the turbines. It was always "Big Allis"! Image
