Yeh its getting late and I'm getting punchy. I do agree with your sentiment though. This site(and hopefully Rics site will follow suit) does tend to attract individuals who regulate themselves.
That's why I like it here.

An excellent response to a potentially 'touchy' issue, John.
The fact is that the 'others' do exist and there are many fans out there - I'm a fan of a couple of other brands myself (mind you, Ricks are my first true love!).
However, the nature of your forum and this one is such that there will always be comparisons with and comments about them. Therefore, your attitude to posts about or including them (up to a point, I'm sure) is more than admirable.
I'm sure that given a bit of time, members will know what they can and can't post.
May I take this opportunity to congratulate all involved on a wonderful job getting the new site designed and up and running. I'm sure you were tempted on more than one occasion to get it going, even if it wasn't quite fully cooked!!
Now, having shamelessly greased up to you, John, have I succeeded in speeding up delivery of my 360/6 FG???

Another thing that is missing on the new website is some of the guitar models. I didn't see the 200 series or the 480 series listed in the models section.
The site looks great however! I liked the history bits.
