I would be suprised if Gruhn has only one repair man. I know Elderly has a number of repair men.

Dale has a history with Rick. As long as you don't mind shipping it.

WOW, I feel like a legend in my own mind. The problem with this type of repair is that unless the whole top is refinished it will always be noticable. Is this a player or a show piece? If it's a player then repair the crack and live with the touch up work. If it's a show piece then refinish the complete top and put it in a display cabinet. If it were mine I'd fix the crack and touch up the finish ABAP and play this Blue Boy as much as possible. Robert, you should contact a local Luthier to do this for you, my waiting list is 1 year, but if you are willing to wait I will do this for you next year in June.

Woah, nice one!

I didn't pay much attention to it in the pictures of the Tokyo show. I really dig the gold guard.
