Nope. Bishops white, cardinals red. smurfs, blue.

The pope gets gold.

Bases loaded, top of the ninth, Cardinals are at bat.

Ah Red is the color. I thought so.

A bishop's cassock varies in color according to the occasion. On penitential days it is black with purple silk trimmings; but on other days he wears a purple cassock, called a choir cassock, with crimson trimmings, at church functions, and an ordinary cassock, of black with red trimmings...

You can spread it on bread and ask people if it tastes like butter...

I already have an Epiphone Sheraton II

If this was a few years ago when I was in a maniacal collecting mode I would probably have gone for it. As it is I'm in a selling mode..... I'm bringing a few guitars to a musicians swap meet tomorrow.

Nope.... but it comes to mind that the very first electric guitar I ever had was a Kent.... it was a el-cheapo sort of strat-ish solid body that my mother bought for me when I was about 12. At the time what I really wanted was one of those cool guitars like John Lennon was playing, but at the time I had as much chance of getting a 325 for my birthday as gettng Ferrari.

Tomorrow I'll try to get rid of (in ascending order of price) a Fender Toronado, a Carvin and a Daion.

Plus a couple of cheapo floor monitors which turned out to be a good lesson in "it pays to spend more for quality gear".

Sold the Fender and the monitors... AND got a good lead on a new drummer. I guess swap meets swap a lot more than just old hardware.

The only Ric I way there was a late model 4001 MG in good shape. They guy was asking $750 (firm). I encouraged him to hold onto it. There was a similar looking 4001 Rickenfaker with the TRC saying "Ibanez". That one was selling at half the Ric price.

Kent - do you have rust issues with your guitars over there? When I lived in Honolulu I had some parts start to rust on my older guitars (never mind my Karmann Ghia!). Now I have an offer to transfer to Kona, and though I'm leaning toward not doing it, there's a chance in a few years I might feel different. What kind of special care do you take with your equipment, if any?
