It's great. Just tested it out today as a matter of fact. It came in at 7.4 or so.

The cover is much appreciated also.

Looks like your 1975 4001 is 'up for grabs', Gregg. I'm sorry to learn that you are parting with it. I've been there - in the past I've parted with a 1972 Fireglo 4001 (my very first Rickenbacker bass, bought in October 1979), a 1977 Burgundyglo 4001, two 1980 Jetglo 4001s, a 1981 Jetglo 4003 and a 1982 Fireglo 4001. The only good thing about letting them go was to know for a fact that each one was being bought by true Rickenbacker lovers, in other words, each one of these basses found a good home.
