How bout Hot pink or orange with a white pickguard and trim? I would have to get one...

Do you think they would ever change the color of the pickguards?

My '67 4005/fg has "mellowed" into an orange-ish hue that is absolutely gorgeous in person.

An Orange-glo would be interesting....

A trans orange, sort of like that transluscent dark sunset orange F*nd*r had would look nice.

Trans teal or trans black would look cool also IMHO.

Sunset orange....wasn't that a Schwinn color back in the mid 70's? THAT was a nice color too!

Maybe you guys have already unknowingly predicted the color... What color makes everyone on the forum swoon? What color makes non ric fans swoon?

*vintage fireglo*... reds not as deep, more gradual fading of red compared to modern fireglos.

A few might buy something like white... everyone would buy a reproduction of vintage fireglo.

What were all those called again?

Orange Crate
Lemon Peeler
Pea Picker (?)
Cherry Picker (?)
Grey Ghost (?)
and the rare and not very politically correct
Cotton Picker (I saw one in a bicycle museum!)

I'd like to see the dark fireglo, reddish brown, or whatever you want to call it, make a come back. Especially with gold guards!

"Vintage Fireglo"

That is a beautiful pic, Graham....
Time for a new desktop pic, I believe Image

Hey Dane...I've still got a few Stingrays and parts in my basement. A few years ago I had really gotten into the restoration thing, but now with all the repro parts and refinishing jobs...I've kind of lost the "joy"....so I'm just keeping what I have and taking the occasional spin around the park...
