You're too kind.
Considering your offer I take it that you don't like yellowed bindings either?

Hey Curmudge, with regard to the yellowed binding in the above photo, I beige to differ.

Yes, Peter, I think that you might be right. They are ecru or ivory.

Wim, I don't mind the look in the least. Pure white looks too clean to me, and pinky FG looks a bit too new to me, too.

And my offer is good for 30 days.

Can someone change the title of this thread in "Beigeing, ecruing or elephanting finish"?

I like white. It looks good on the fireglo. Still breaks my heart though, I especially wanted this model because it had back and front binding in contrary to the 330 series.

Paul, you can send your $500 downpayment to my Paypal account. I'll keep the guitar aside for you for 29 days.

Nah, Wim. I don't have a Paypal account, so you see this is a non-productive approach.

Must be a language thing, Wim...I said nothing about a "downpayment". Is this term a translation from Dutch?

Wim: At your service.

In fact it is!

We'd call you a 'gierigaard' in Dutch, considering your offer etc ;)
Where you're from btw? With that last name you must have European roots no?

I think the 'yellowed' or 'beiged' binding looks great with the Fireglo - gives it a nice 'aged and mellowed' look.

Having said that, I'm glad the binding on my 360V64 Jetglo is still white!!

Paul, I think Wim means 'dawnpayment' - the time difference is confusing him!!!

Wim, my roots are in deepest darkest Chicago...

Before that, near Breslau (Wrotslaw). There is a village called "Wilczyn". My great-grandfather owned it.

That's great, Paul.

I don't even dare translate my last name.
