The power of brown compells you.
The power of brown compells you.
The power of brown compells you.

I'm not a huge fan of Fireglo *ducks* - but what I think is cool about Autumnglo is that it's kind of between the natural of Mapleglo and the burst of Fireglo.
Oh, and good to see this thread going again! This little guy likes the brown too...

No, the UPS man has delivered many brown Ricks their eager owners.

Thread necromancy at its finest, especially considering the fact that I killed the thread!
Anyway, I just found this picture of me with my Autumnglo. The lighting's not the greatest, but I still like the way it looks. Plus, you can see my crazy rig, including a vintage Acetone head that I have since gotten rid of...

So, what's the finish on this '76? It's been tentatively identified on another thread as Autumnglo, but I'd thought I'd ask officially on the official Autumnglo thread...

It's brown. Or Reddish brown. Or reddish-orange-brown.

Ummmm... I think that the order after the verb is supposed to be (indirect object) (direct object)?!?!?

Gary :
Dane: The texture of the varnish is what determines the finish name. Matte is AG and gloss is Walnut.

Ted: thanks, that makes it an AG...now I know.
Gary: Of course, you're correct...but then again, maybe so's Ted! (Howzzat for grammar?)

The matte finish will eventually rub down to a high gloss that is hard to tell from an original gloss finish. The neck and some other parts of my '80 AG have a glossy shine these days.

Granted. Ted...my experience is the same, but you can still tell the matte finish on the 'unrubbed' parts...
A Ric, like a bronze statue of a Saint, should show the mark of 'the hands of the faithful'...
