I want to express my appreciation to all involved with the gathering on Saturday. Everybody was super nice and the Instruments were exceptional! It was great to see things that I had only seen in books before. To actually hold and play a Rick Doubleneck was such a thrill! I was the one who brought the Walnut 4003/8 Bass. Did anyone happen to snap a close up of it? If so, could you please post it? My only regret was that I had to leave early. I'll be there and stay longer next time for sure.
Thanks again to all!!!

It was nice to meet you and welcome Rick ! That was a great 4008....it gave me a new appreciation for the "other" string arrangement
. It was a fantastic player and quite a looker. Unfortunately you left before I could get a closeup.....all I have is this shot with it on the table next to my Rics.
...sorry it is sideways. I save it rotated and when it gets attached it rotates back.....

I had a great time, and wanted to pop in and thank John and Don for putting on a swell shindig. Great meeting JWilli, Kenny and David McCombo, to name a few.
I posted some pics over at the BGC, where you can put up pics larger than a thumbnail. Even got a few of you bass guys.
