Oh geez, messed up consonants . . . ugh . . .

How about "draught" and "draft"? And sometimes, people even use "draught" instead of "drought", and pronounce it that way too! And then, of course, there's popular speech for today's youth, myself included, where you add the word "like" between every clause or so. Imagine if, in Spanish, people did the same thing: it would make no sense! You'd get something like "Como esta tu vida, como, ahora, como, en este segundo? Como, es tan aburrido como, como, matematicas!" Dear god!

Just remember... in Spanish, you can mess everything up just by excluding all of the accent marks!
