Sergio, the 68 WAS under the bed for 30 years. Bought, played for a few years and then put away. It,s completely original.All the 60,s features.Only removed from the case to polish. A couple of tiny marks around the headstock, and a tiny nick just below the neck on the back, barely noticeable, apart from that probably as close as you can get to new for a 34 year old bass. Mono, early high gain, green bobbin, 4 large screws as polepieces. A picture says a thousand words but I need to "shrink" them to post here. I can send them to individual e-mail. Peter, would it be possible for you to "shrink", then post them if I e-mailed them to you, for posting to the site? Thanks Andy

David, thanks for enlightening me on prices. No way I'm going to shell out two grand for the '79 4001. May be they'll accept a swap.
Andrew, that '68 4001 IS a rare find. Some guys have all the luck... Please do try to post a picture here. Thanks again.
