That was a good un, Jeff.. I like the spider web at the bottom of the slide.
"If we pull this off we'll eat like kings!"
McCartney's keys player Wix uses an accordian when he does "Elenor Rigby".
And I love Weird Al.

Actually, violin could be interesting if applied appropriately. Ideally the lady in question should have another instrument to play when not bowing.
Could be quite useful in filling up some slower material, & if she's a good singer, that's always an asset to any band (maybe some of those Pink Floyd songs from Dark Side of the Moon?).

Kevin, here in Malaysia there is a ska band called 'Gerhana Ska Cinta'. In their original lineup they have a woman who played French horn (I have their first CD), but they appear to have dropped her in the latest video. In fact, she is in the video but everytime she comes into view her face has been smudged to hide her identity, and they do not give her name like they do the other musicians. Must have been problems!
Gerhana = eclipse
Cinta = love
So, 'Love Ska Eclipse' (?)
99 down, 1 to go

I think multi-instrumentalists are awesome. I get tired of hearing the same sounds all night when I go out to see a band. It's a real eye opener to throw something unusual in the mix.
It's also something that everyone, players & listeners alike, notice & remember about your band immediately.
