I think it was meant to be Dave.

As for Chris, he must be crazier than I am. I thought I had the record for being a short term owner of a 4002.

Chris, I should pay you a visit tomorrow in Chambersburg and give you a good swift kick in the ***. I don't care how big you are. Image

...to all who don't have a 4002 yet.....

Sorry....I decided not to put it on the 'bay and I didn't want a "shootout" here on the forum for it....and I KNOW Dave has waited 25 years for one.....they've always "just eluded" him.....so
to Dave Pascoe....CONGRATS!! I think this one was meant to be yours...

More importantly, now I can pay off the CC bill and get that trailer we need to haul the antiques...Image

So Dave, what do you think now that you have one?
Have you had a chance to give it a work out yet?
She's a great player. What strings are on it now?

Those are the Chromes....the regular "soft" flats....I included the DR hi beams, though....

Don't worry, Bob...they are still my favorite roundwounds Image

Chris, thanks for the opportunity to purchase this. It was 1979 when I first saw one of these. They were too expensive for me back then. However, I guess if you figure inflation into it, the purchase price of today was probably about the same. (excluding the steak tips).

I'm sorry I had to let it go....I was still in the "honeymoon" phase with it.....

Enjoy, Dave
