Hi Jacob, your killing me with all those stringy thingy's.

Wait, I got an idea! How about one SVT head, two 810 cabs. Custom wired patch cord sending a single string signal to it's own 210 compartment within the two cabs. You would have eight sets of 210's to work with. I would also split the octave strings to opposite cabs.

If you pull out a 12'r, you would have to add another cab, more custom wiring to send the additional four strings to their own set of 210's, change all speakers to 16 ohms so that you blow up your SVT just once a week.

Okay, time to return to earth, mission accomplished.

A little hard to see in this pic. No, it's not a Rick, it's a Spector in this one.

Kevin,

The EV 10BX (8 Ohms) is rated for 150 watts rms and the WW amp puts out 450 watts rms @ 8 Ohms. Obviously the speaker couldn't handle the full power, but I have yet to run into a situation that this rig couldn't handle.

An awful lot of Rick / Ampeg combos being used here.

I'm not surprised. Ampeg is a great rock amp, and rics are great rock basses

Very nice rig Marcello. A 70's V4B and those cabs would be my dream (or a full SVT). Looks slick with the jetglo.

I'd agree with you John, but unfortunately here in Italy those '70s ampegs are almost impossible to find. So I had to get the reissue but I have to admit they are very nice amps Image
