If I find a suitably priced 350SH you can buy my 350 from me at a reasonable price. Chances of that? 0 to none I am afraid. But I will keep looking.

Well I do have another option on the SH. But that too is just a dream right now.
Time will tell the story I suppose.

Brian's FG 350V63 with the F-hole really shows off Paul's eye for scale and design. It looks perfect. The only other 350 that I've seen with an F-hole is Mike Parks' Purpleburst 350.

"F-hole" sounds somewhat derogatory to me. It's only five letters away from the other "hole". I think I prefer "F-cutout".

Hehe....Never gave it a whole lot of thought.... I played violin through much of my childhood, and that's just what those cutouts were called, I suppose because they are shaped like a calligraphic "f".
BTW, I think Mike Parks' Purpleburst 350 has got to be the prettiest 350 in the world.... It was one of the sources of inspiration for the new color of my 330. I had toyed with the idea of checkered binding for it, too, but when Paul told me how much that would cost I had to forget about it.... Of course now I couldn't love that guitar any more than I do, LOL!

Too bad you had to forget about it, Melissa...I just finished redoing a mid-'80s BT bass into an early '70s AFG, with checkered binding, and it looks very nice. I'll post some pictures when I get to my office. I really want to try doing a 350 with checkerboard...

Jwilli, a Hoffs in purpleburst would be just over-the-top.... Might be too hot to play!

A Hoffs is due to arrive at my door any moment. Its been played and has scratches. Will make a decision about 2 min. after I open the case.

The Hoffs arived in much better shape than anticipated. Some scratches on the back but I could probably live with them.....
if I didn't want a PURPLE-GLO HOFFS!
