The p'up position and the pickguard on this EB-3 (or EB-3L) make it no earlier than a '72.

Well, there you have it. It's between a 67-76. Gotta love the Gibsons. Just date them by the decade, it's easier.

Ilan, those are awesome! I love those old mudbucker-equipped Gibsons. My EB-2 looks almost exactly the same!
(Except I took off the pickguard...)

Those are great basses Frode if you like the sound, listen to Mountain (even though it was an EB-1) and The Cream. That is a mid 70's bass, definitely not a 60's as others have said they moved the neck pickup away from the neck sometime during the early 70's. Those are starting to climb in price also, they have a unique sound, also listen to Free, he had a great EB-3 sound. All Right Now, etc.
I had a cherry EB-2 just like yours Harry, sorry I sold it. I also had the pickguard in the case.
