You know a V68 reissue would make a great companion for the new model 1996. Image

They had several examples of acoustic guitars in their booth; maybe they are preparing to restart manufacturing them this year...?

John Hall (or maybe Ben) has stated that when the LK production is complete the acoustics will come back into the fold. Apparently it is the personnel that work on the acoustics normally that are hammering out the last LK's.

Alan, John has said they were planning on ramping up acoustic production again...

A question on the lefty models, shouldn't the fret markers be flipped also, so that the bigger part of the triangle is facing the player instead of away from the player? Just curious...

That one is a C64 with the reverse (in this case a righty) headstock if I recall correctly.

C64's dont have the fret markers, they have dots, no?
That looks like a regular ol' 4003LH to me.

Well... whatever; one of the items they had on display had a reverse headstock. I think it was that one. But since I wasn't there to document the display I just don't remember the details.

There are other differences too, such as the horseshoe pickup vs. the hi-gain pickup along with it's appropriate surround, the larger pickguard vs. the smaller pickguard on that bass, no binding, split tailpiece, vintage knobs and strap buttons.

We are a picky bunch here! Image
