Dave, I've been to that shop..Guitar Villa isn't it? I didn't know he had so many older basses. I remember one 4000 in the store when I was up there, a 59 or 60 model...

John, Erik would know better than me, (he lived closer to the stores), but that collection was one of the largest in this area.
It put mine to shame for sure..

Guitar Villa it is. They were from his personal collection, so they were never in the store for sale.

Gary, I don't think I have ever seen a picture with more than 12 guitars, that looks good.

Thanks Dave. I used Quickstich, a program that also came with my Olympus D-400Z, to stitch together four partial pictures to get one big panoramic shot. When the pictures are taken correctly and thus overlap right, the stitched panorama looks great.

Sorry guys, I haven't been around for a few days since my post in Ken's disappointed with RIC thread was deleted. I don't know if Peter has me on probation, what ever.
In answer to your questions and comments, the basses in that photo were at one time owned by John Slog. I sold John my Mapleglo 68 4001 and he gave me a print of his old collection, along with a pile of money.
That was 13 years ago. I sold my 68 to John because I was always playing my 1988 4001v63 which I prefered to the 68 at the time.
Here's photo of my 68 just before I packed it up and sent it off to John. Sorry for the **** photo.
